From the vast choice of things of activity holidays why not consider our residential cookery holiday in Morocco.  From a comfortable retreat in the countryside a short distance from the relaxed Atlantic resort of Essaouira you can learn the skills to create authentic Moroccan dishes.  My wife Naima is an excellent cook and she demonstrates how to make a variety of different dishes here in our bespoke kitchen.

A 3-4 hour class gives you an opportunity to learn traditional Moroccan cuisine with recipes handed down from Berber families. Tour the spice market in preparation for your session and buy spices you can take home to perfect your own Tagine or Pastilla. Afterwards you get to eat what’ve you made!

Choose from a menu of:

Crevette briwat or Briouates – small pastillas made with prawns. Couscous, Harira – traditional Moroccan soup, Zaalouk – aubergine and tomato salad, Lamb Tagine with almonds and dates, Beef Tagine with prunes and walnuts, Chicken and olive Tagine, Kefta Tagine with vegetables, Chicken Pastilla with traditional Moroccan flatbread.
